Best of Bataan's Homegrown Eats

From classic favorites to the newest hangouts, there's something for everyone in Bataan. Food tripping in the province might not be popular yet, especially among travellers from Manila, but it’s an absolute must! Check out some of the restaurants I have tried during my recent visit to the province. I will add some more in this list when I get back to Bataan soon!

1. Angelitos Pizza and Restaurant 
Location: M plus C Building, Tenejero, Orani, Bataan

Must-Try: Their homemade pizza,  and spicy pancit canton

This tofu dish made by Angelitos Pizza and Restaurant is one of the best I've eaten! The mushroom sauce and other spices did not kill the taste of tofu. Absolutely loved it!
Fried chicken is the epitome of comfort food, and Angelitos offers one of the best tasting fried chickens in Bataan at a very affordable price.
2. Loleng's Hu Tieu-An 
Location: Mayor's Street, Barangay Binaritan, Morong, Bataan

Must-Try: Vietnamese Bahn mi (the popular Vietnamese sandwich) and Hu Tiue (rice noodle with pork and seafood)

3. Saverde Coffee Shop 
Location: 129 Gabon St. Abucay Bataan

Must-Try: Their beef tapa rice (75 pesos) and rich buttermilk toast (20 pesos)

4. Choco-Latรฉ de Batirol Bataan
Location: Total Gas Station, Roman Super Highway, Alauli, Pilar, Bataan

5. The Beanery

6. The Food Project 
Location: Barangay Balagtas, Orion, Bataan

Must-Try: Salisbury Steak, Chicken Wings and Tuna Pasta

Ima Flora’s Pamangan serves a plethora of Filipino classic dishes. You can also create your own refreshing native salad made from pako (fiddle fern), tomatoes, eggs, atchara and onions.

8. Marres Kitchen
