My H&M Workwear Wishlist

Saturday, October 18, 2014

I've been buying cheap stuff all this time and I realized I am spending more on clothes that after wearing for a couple of weeks, it got shrunk, got holes or otherwise compromised. I don't usually splurge on clothing but when it comes to workwear, I wanted to have well crafted stuff that can last long.

Good thing, H&M is finally in the Philippines, and it’s officially open in SM Megamall and soon in SM North! I've been reading good reviews of this brand and I'm really looking forward to go shopping in one of its stores soon. So for today, I wanted to share with you my current favorite items from their site. Prices are in Philippine peso. GREAT :)
Jacket with Puff Sleeves
 PHP 1,690

This blazer/jacket is the first H&M piece that I really wanted to get. Black blazers can be very basic, but I think it is the most versatile piece in any working woman's closet.

I always believed black pants can work wonders for my figure. Pants are perfect for work. I have collected a couple of them over the years but none of them last long. So now, I wanted to get this perfect black pants asap!
White Stretch Shirt
PHP 899
This classic white button down shirt is a must because it can suit different styles. It is so versatile that I can wear it to any events and it can go with any accessories.

Tailored Jacket
PHP 1,690
I've always wanted to get a beige blazer because I think it looks good in a black pants or dress. I saw one in Forever 21 but it costs around PHP 1,700. You see, F21 is already expensive for me. But this time around, I'll definitely buy this at H&M.

Surprisingly, these sweatpants look office-appropriate by juxtaposing them with a tailored coat. Wearing it with heels is a great idea too! I can imagine this look is so chic!

Patterned Shirt
PHP 899
My office mates know I am addicted to long-sleeved blouses in woven fabric with buttons at front. The fabric is soft, very cool and light weight which are perfect in a tropical country like the Philippines. Also, these type of clothing does not need ironing making it an electricity saver!

So there you go guys! My faves are the jacket with puff sleeve and the white stretch shirt. Which do you like best? :)
Hope you are all having a great weekend!

P.S. This is my first time to blog about clothing and I'm not really good in fashion. Just wanted to share things that are non-travel related for a change ^_^
