First time in Anawangin Cove

Saturday, March 26, 2011

I'll be turning 22 this month, on the 26th of March to be exact. I have a job and I am getting paid every 15th and 30th of the month. But there was a point when it hit me and had the feeling of "Is this it?". You know the life after college? Working 5 days a week, spending rest days at home, night out with friends etc. I guess I have this feeling because I don't like what I'm doing. I work in BPO but I am a nurse. I should be in a Hospital taking care of the sick right? But I'm sure you are familiar with our story. Sad stories of nurses working in the call center where avenues for growth are limited. I am doing things that I've been told to do. Same routines. And I absolutely don't want to continue being like this.

Who would I want to be? Where would I want to go? What would I want to experience? These are the questions that I need to answer before I lose my sanity. I need to go somewhere. I need to escape the toxicity of the Metro. And of course to figure out what I'm gonna do with my life.
Wild Rose Beach Inn
We set the dates. Me and my friends headed to Zambales. We decided to stay in a resort which is Wild rose beach Inn. My friends Jett and Maki stayed here the last time they went to Anawangin. This is not a luxury resort so don't expect too much. Anyway, we are not going to stay in the resort all the time that's why we didn't care if it's good or not. You can check resort review in Tripadvisor

We only stayed for an hour in Anawangin so I didn't get the chance to explore. We just stopped over the place because my friend needs to respond to the call of nature hahaha. Here's some of our pictures while we are waiting for her.

I would always be grateful for this trip. This made me realize a lot of things. A week after the trip, I decided to leave the company I'm working for. I decided to find a job that it somehow related to my background. And I did find it. Thank you Lord :)
